Family Picnic on the Lawn - Thursday, October 3
Please see the information below regarding our Family Picnic on the Eader School Field.

• Parking will be significantly impacted, and families should plan on parking in the surrounding neighborhoods. Please allow yourself ample time to find parking and walk to the location where you will meet your child. Arriving early is recommended, as we want to avoid any worries for students if families are running late.
• Families of students in Grades 1-5 will enter campus through Gate 5 and meet their child on the blacktop before walking to their designated area on the school field.
• Families of Kindergarteners will enter through the Kindergarten Gate and meet their child on the Kindergarten blacktop. Once parents meet their child, they will walk together to their designated area on the school field.
• All families should bring beach chairs or blankets for comfortable seating during the picnic.
• Parents with multiple children in the same lunch period are welcome to bring one child to the other child's location on the field to enjoy the picnic together.
• Families are welcome to stay until the end of their child's lunch period. • All guests must exit through Gate 5 and the Kindergarten Gate only.
• Lunch times are as follows:
Kindergarten - Grade 2: 11:45 am - 12:30 pm
Grade 3 - Grade 5: 12:15 pm - 1:00 pm
Important: If you are unable to attend, please ensure your child is aware.
We hope to see you there!

Communication and Social Media at Eader Elementary
Please note that ParentSquare messages sent on Sundays are our primary form of communication, ensuring that all important information is shared here first.
Our Instagram account (@eadereagles) will serve as a secondary platform, primarily for reminders. Please note that, out of respect for student confidentiality, we do not post photos of students to our account. However, we are happy to repost parents who tag our Instagram in their stories, provided their profiles are public.
Thank you for staying connected!
Counselor CornerPlease note the message below sent on behalf of Eader School Counselor, Mr. Lennon. Hello Parents! October is National Bullying Prevention Month, and our school counselor, Mr. Lennon, will be teaching students about the crucial role we all play in stopping and preventing bullying. In his lesson, he will explain what bullying is, how it affects those involved, and how we can shift from being bystanders to active upstanders. You can support this lesson by having a conversation with your child about safely preventing bullying and seeking help from a trusted adult at school or home. For more information on identifying bullying and standing up to it safely, visit StopBullying.gov. It’s also helpful to remind your child about kindness, respect, and the importance of including others to promote a safe and welcoming environment for all. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to Mr. Lennon at plennon@hbcsd.us.
Parking Lot Safety Reminder
Please help keep our students safe by driving carefully and observing all traffic safety signs and speed limits around our school.
When leaving the parking lot, only right turns are allowed.
Do not park or leave your vehicle in any area marked with a red curb.
For safety, please ensure your child exits and enters your vehicle on the curbside only.
As a safety reminder, please do not park in the center roundabout to exit your car and walk through traffic to pick up your child. This is dangerous and disrupts the flow of traffic. Thank you for helping keep our drop-off and pick-up areas safe and efficient for everyone!
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in ensuring the safety of our Eader community!
