Red Ribbon Week – Week of October 21

Please see the flyer below for details about Red Ribbon Week, which will take place the week of October 21 (not this coming week).




Veterans Day Flag Assembly - Friday, November 8 - 8:40 am

On Friday, November 8th, we will hold a special flag assembly to honor the Veterans in our Eader community.

If you or someone in your family is a Veteran and would like them to be honored at our assembly, please email Principal Holbrook at fholbrook@hbcsd.us for more information.

If you have a Veteran in your family who cannot attend, please send a labeled photograph with the Veteran’s name and your child's name on the back. Photos should be dropped off in the office, attention: Mr. Holbrook, by Friday, October 25.

We invite all students and families to wear red, white, and blue. We hope to see you there!

Student Drop-Off Reminder

Please remember that students should not be dropped off at school before 8:25 a.m. If you arrive earlier, please keep your child in the car until 8:25 a.m.

We've had several students dropped off as early as 8:12 a.m. without supervision, leading to some rowdy behavior.
Your cooperation helps ensure a safe and orderly start to the day. Thank you!


Parking Lot Safety Reminder

Please help keep our students safe by driving carefully and observing all traffic safety signs and speed limits around our school.

  • When leaving the parking lot, only right turns are allowed.
  • Do not park or leave your vehicle in any area marked with a red curb.
  • For safety, please ensure your child exits and enters your vehicle on the curbside only.
  • Please continue to pull forward until you are immediately behind the car in front of you while waiting to pick up your child. This will help eliminate parents cutting in front of each other and prevent dangerous maneuvers.
  • As a safety reminder, please do not park in the center roundabout to exit your car and walk through traffic to pick up your child. This is dangerous and disrupts the flow of traffic.
