First Day of School
Our school year will begin Tuesday, September 2nd and will follow our planning day schedule:
• TK dismissed at 12:25 pm
• Grades K-3 dismissed at 1:41 pm
• Grades 4-5 dismissed at 1:50 pm
Parents are welcome to join us on campus to walk their child to class as we kick off the school year.
When planning first-day outfits, please keep in mind that students will be sitting on the blacktop in their class lines.
Attached to this message is our school map for your reference in locating your child's classroom and gate locations.
Student Arrival
Parents may walk their child to class the first two days of school.
Beginning Thursday, September 4, parents will drop off their child at school gates.
• TK & K - Gate 1
* Grades 1-5 - Gate 5
School gates open daily at 8:25 am. Please do not drop off your child before that time as teacher and staff supervision is not available.
Thank you for your cooperation and for helping us ensure the safety of our students.
Student Dismissal
Beginning the first day of school, students will be dismissed from their grade-level gate.

Please note that recess and lunch times have been updated since last year.

Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) is a proactive framework we use at Eader Elementary to create a safe and positive learning environment for all students. Through PBIS, we focus on teaching and reinforcing clear behavior expectations while celebrating the efforts of our students as they learn and grow. At Eader, our PBIS program is built around the STAR system, which encourages our students to: S: Be Safe T: Be Thoughtful A: Act Responsibly R: Be Respectful These values help guide our Eader Eagles to make positive choices, whether they're in the classroom, on the playground, or in the community. To support these expectations, we’ve developed a PBIS Behavior Matrix that outlines specific examples of how students can demonstrate STAR behaviors in different areas of the school. Celebrating Eader Eagles - STAR Cards
We are excited to continue rewarding students for doing their best on campus with STAR Cards. Like last year, across campus we award two STAR Cards per day, per class. When students collect 10 STAR Cards, they earn a wristband that unlocks special privileges later in the year. Thank you for your support, together, we can help our students build strong character and a positive school culture!
Parking Lot SafetyPlease help keep our students safe by driving carefully and observing all traffic safety signs and speed limits around our school.
When leaving the parking lot, only right turns are allowed.
Please do not park and leave your vehicle in any area that has a red curb. Please remember to have your child exit and enter your vehicle on the curbside only.
