Reminder: Free School Meals for All Students
Huntington Beach City School District (HBCSD) is proud to continue offering free school meals to all students for the 2025–2026 school year.
Meals are free for all students, but completing the School Funding Form (Meal Application Form) is still important. If you haven’t already submitted one, we encourage you to do so today. Submitting this form ensures our District can access valuable state and federal funding that directly supports academic programs and essential student services.
By completing the form, families may also qualify for additional benefits, including:
Discounted utility, internet, phone, and cell services
Reduced-cost school bus passes
Increased funding through the Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF)
Support staff and technology funding
Equipment grants to improve meal quality
Only one form is needed per household, even if you have multiple children in HBCSD. Paper copies are available upon request from our Food and Nutrition Services Department.
If you need assistance completing the form, please call our Food and Nutrition Services team at (714) 378-2076.
