What the Fun Run Makes Possible
As shared in last week’s message, while our annual Fun Run includes fun experiences and special treats for students, I want to again emphasize what this fundraiser truly supports - providing the best possible educational programming for our Eader students.
Every dollar raised directly impacts your child’s educational experience at Eader.
These funds support:
• Classroom supplies, resources, and curriculum for students
• Teacher stipends totaling $600 per teacher to enhance classroom learning
• Art programming provided throughout the year by Art and Soul
• Community events such as Beach Day, Movie Night, Playground Preview, Reading Nights, and Field Day
• Field trips for all students, with all expenses covered (including significant bus costs)
• Assemblies throughout the year that bring enrichment and excitement to campus
• Campus beautification projects - new playgrounds, murals, garden beds, benches, and outdoor learning spaces
• School celebrations and decorations for events like the first day of school and promotions
• Staff Appreciation Week, recognizing the hard work and dedication of our teachers and staff
While I look forward to the excitement the fundraiser brings, I want to be very clear: the true reward is how these funds enrich the educational experience for every child at Eader Elementary.
Thank you for believing in our students, supporting our teachers, and helping Eader be its very best.

Eader’s First Annual Trunk or Treat - Thursday, October 30
We’re excited to announce that Eader will be hosting our first annual Trunk or Treat on Thursday, October 30th, on the Eader blacktop.
This will be a fun-filled evening for the whole family, with decorated trunks, costumes, and plenty of treats.
This is an activity you won’t want to miss so make sure to mark your calendars and join us for an unforgettable night of Halloween fun!
Halloween at Eader - Reminder: No Costumes at School on Friday
As a reminder, students should not wear costumes to school on Friday. While we love celebrating the season and encourage everyone to dress up and have fun at our Trunk or Treat event on Thursday evening, school on Friday will be a regular instructional day.
Costumes can be distracting in class, make it difficult for students to participate in learning activities, and create safety or equity concerns. We appreciate your support in keeping Friday a focused and productive day for all students.
Thank you for helping us maintain a positive balance between festive fun and a great day of learning at Eader!

Parking Lot Safety & Efficiency
With only a single lane entering and exiting our school parking lot, please keep in mind that one car has the ability to severely impact and hold up the entire line. To help keep traffic moving and ensure safety:
• Please have your child prepared to leave the vehicle safely and quickly on the curbside (school side).
• Stay in your car at all times.
• Pull up as far as you can, even past the gate, so the maximum number of cars can unload along the curb.
• Do not pull in front of other cars if there is a hold up.
• Safety is always our top priority—thank you for your support.
Additional reminders:
• Please drive carefully and observe all traffic safety signs and speed limits around the school.
• When leaving the parking lot, right turns only are permitted.
• Do not park or leave your vehicle in any area marked with a red curb.
• Children should always enter and exit vehicles from the curbside only.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and supporting the smooth flow of traffic in our Eader community.
