Eader Spring Carnival - Thursday, March 19
Our Spring Carnival is coming to Eader on Thursday, March 19th from 4:30 - 8:00 pm - and it’s going to be an evening full of fun for the whole family.
Wristbands are on sale and are required for children ages 4 and older and give access to all carnival activities. Parents do not need wristbands. With a wristband, students can enjoy inflatable obstacle courses and games, cotton candy and popcorn, face painting and balloon artists, a petting zoo, and music from a live DJ.

Cake Donations for the Carnival Cakewalk
Our upcoming school carnival is just around the corner, and one of the most popular activities is the Cakewalk! We are inviting families to donate a cake or baked treat for this fun event.
If you would like to contribute, please consider bringing a cake or dessert to help make the Cakewalk a success. Your generosity helps create a memorable experience for our students and adds to the excitement of the carnival.
Thank you in advance for supporting this fun tradition for our Eader community!

Supporting Our Neighbors During Drop-Off and Pick-Up
As a reminder, please help us be good neighbors by following all traffic laws during drop-off and pick-up. This includes not blocking or parking in neighbors’ driveways and being mindful of the residents who live near our school.
Your cooperation helps keep our community safe and respectful for everyone. Thank you for doing your part to support our neighbors and our Eader community.
Reminder: Returning to School After Illness
To help keep our students and staff healthy, please review the following guidelines when deciding if your child is ready to return to school after being ill.
Students may return to school when:
• They have been fever-free for at least 24 hours without fever-reducing medication
• Vomiting, nausea, or diarrhea have been absent for 24 hours
• A communicable illness has been treated and the required treatment period has been completed
Thank you for partnering with us to keep our school community healthy.
Lost & Found Reminder - Fridays Before School
If your child is missing a jacket, sweatshirt, lunch container, or water bottle, please take a moment to check our Lost & Found. The Lost & Found will be set out on the curb on Fridays before school, making it easy to quickly look through items at drop-off.
Unclaimed items will be donated periodically, so we encourage families to check regularly.
Reporting Student AttendanceIf your child will be absent, please remember to notify the school by either calling our attendance line at (714) 962-2451 and leaving a message, or by emailing
eaderattendance@hbcsd.usReporting absences promptly helps us keep accurate records, ensure student safety, and maintain clear communication between home and school.
Thank you for your support and partnership.
Parking Lot Safety & EfficiencyWith only a single lane entering and exiting our school parking lot, please keep in mind that one car has the ability to severely impact and hold up the entire line. To help keep traffic moving and ensure safety:
• Please have your child prepared to leave the vehicle safely and quickly on the curbside (school side).
• Stay in your car at all times.
• Pull up as far as you can, even past the gate, so the maximum number of cars can unload along the curb.
• Do not pull in front of other cars if there is a hold up.
• Safety is always our top priority—thank you for your support.
Additional reminders:
• Please drive carefully and observe all traffic safety signs and speed limits around the school.
• When leaving the parking lot, right turns only are permitted.
• Do not park or leave your vehicle in any area marked with a red curb.
• Children should always enter and exit vehicles from the curbside only.
Thank you in advance for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and supporting the smooth flow of traffic in our Eader community.
